generating electricity.."especially brown coal",which
has a lower energy content than black coal and is less
economic to mine in poorly accessible sites.

In terms of market size,well over 600 BT of coal suitable
for UCG production is available globally.Relative to
global reserves,the main UCG markets include the U.S.27%
China 13% and India 10%.In the UK,the British Geo survey
found that the coal resources potentially suitable for
UCG was an "extra 17BT or 300 years" at current usage.

The way we look at generating our electric power is under
total review and there are some big surprises coming.
