Infoseeker, electronic devices are no more or less safe than any other category of device in any application. "satisfactory performance" depends entirely on the approach used in design and verification.
Did you mean to say that you understand the design/verification process in general, or are you implying that you have some understanding of the specific processes used by MBO?
