The most important thing thing that happened today was the considerable quantity of crossings and special crossings. With the underwriters on the hook for such large quantities of shares, the only way these will be cleared are with multiple days like today. Seeing investors and institutions stumping up for stock like we saw today provides a level of confidence that the business has made the right move and can execute, regardless how cheap the cap raising was completed at.
Unfortunately my attempt to penny pinch and pick up my cap raising allocation at 5.6/5.7c may be destined for failure, won't be upset if we get the expected rise in the share price though!
