In order to shift the focus a bit, I though it time for a new thread.
So what is CVN going to buy??
The strongest hints they've dropped are that they like Thailand, and to spend where they can write off exploration against the 50% tax. Makes since, you drill too holes for the price of one.
Looking at the HZN report, they are trying to reduce there huge drilling committment in the Gulf of Thailand, which is actually a resonably cheap place to explore, develop and operate offshore. Notably HZN has no Thai taxation to use.
I am sure Ted and his team have/or are having a good look at these extensive permits, but I am sure they will not be paying heaps, or taking an interest in the lot - every indication is they will be very selective and focussed.
