China has not matured socially at the same rate at its industrialisation, their new respectability is mostly derived from the money in it's wallet, the way so many things are measured in these modern times.
I think the USA will ultimately surprise many with how it will adapt and the bigeest risks will be how China will cope with moving faster as a shrinking economy.
