There are talks going on but not much will happen in India or China just yet as far as I know. Apparently its risky atm for foreigners setting up a successful business in India and China, that's only if you want to keep your IP and technology from being coppied as they want to know everything. Like I said before though, something is brewing in the USA, I'm not sure what yet but this is where we need to expand 'atm'.
"I would have thought that UCG projects would take a relatively long time to get off the ground given the approval process (environmental etc).".....apart from the ruling in QLD, Its no different than oil or mining approval times which is why CNX are monetising what they can now. Cash flow is better than debt...no matter how small at first.
IMO this is the base/foundations from which CNX will grow, as long as management can keep delivering and remain adaptable throughout this global financial meltdown.
