The BIF hosting the Westralia deposit is dislocated in the south by a northerly trending fault corridor which may have introduced gold solutions at depth or under cover.

There are also isolated aeromagnetic anomalies which may be similar to the syenite hosted gold deposits at Jupiter and at Wallaby. A number of anomalies are either untested or have anomalous results from drilling and need further work.

The Mt Morgans Mining Centre contains significant gold at a number of localities and within variable host rocks. Seven pits have exploited near-surface gold, and in two cases, underground operations followed on higher grade ore.

There is very real potential to locate and define small to medium sized high grade deposits amenable to underground mining.

There are several recognized northerly-striking shear zones which may contain significant gold either within the shear itself, or within cross cutting zones of weakness, or suitable host rock.
