iTrack Advance is a little different to other surgical procedures, the device itself only costs about $1k (which is very cheap compared to other ophthalmic procedures). Of course there are also other costs associated with the operating room etc (you may know more about this than I do given your background), but even those would be quite low as it's a very short and simple procedure. It's a comparatively cheap procedure and would be very appealing to the money hungry (not)NICE than alternatives. It's even cheaper than stenting, which is why canaloplasty gets substantially better reimbursement in the US than stents.

Given the demographics of glaucoma tends to be older individuals, even without any reimbursement iTrack Advance would be quite affordable for many. I know I wouldn't take any risks with my vision, I'd pay whatever was necessary to ensure I didn't lose it and I'm sure many others would do the same.
