The NHS is a black hole they can throw billions at it & it will be swallowed up by overpaid managers and those clipping the ticket the same as the NDIS here.
My father had hip pain in the UK recently (age 86) couldn't get a GP appointment had a phone consult and was given painkillers & told to make an appointment if it didn't improve in 8 weeks.
That is not my idea of clinical excellence !!
Glaucoma it typically a disease of older patients and there are plenty of those with money in the UK so I agree the private sector is the way to go
