Stocks with momentum that are hitting new highs each day tend to do well in June as there is no possibility of claiming tax losses and money freed up from tax loss selling tends to be moved into those stocks.
In July it typically shifts. Those stocks that have lagged behind and have been larger targets of EOFY selling tend to be the targets of bargain hunters, who buy and create momentum. Great time to release a bullish sales report
