So they must have closed it during the week at a fairly big loss at around 8 cents then! I'd been through the ASIC data day by day as they put the short on over multiple trading days and the average was almost certainly below 7 cents.

Sorry for not posting the very latest data available, I (wrongly) assumed that ASIC published the latest data.

Regardless, this was very significant shorting activity for a low-key tech small cap stock. If you look at other small caps it's very unusual.
