1. Vast testing will be required for quite some time yet, globally. I do not envisage most populations controlling the virus in the short/medium term. It will likely linger & I expect increased testing will become the new norm in society.

2. We have a vaccine for influenza but that still comes round like clock work every winter. All depends if the virus is seasonal & how effective the vaccine is.
