you dont waste your time with a bid unless you think it has a reasonable chance of success. a bid will cost you millions.
Would i bother bidding against zfx if i were oxr for example......??? NO!
why? because i cant put up cash and when i take my trip through the dataroom i realize that $1 is a fair price and see no reason to pay more.
I want to get an independent valuation too and i am suspect on management that deny their shareholders that simple right.

Maybe a Norlisk etc could come in and bid more but why didnt they do something when xstrata bid for JBM?
