I have a fairly substantial investment in both CSL and Cochlear.

Given that CSL has such an abundance of surplus cash that does nothing but earn interest, and given that COH share price is severely depressed at present, I believe it is the ideal time for a consolidation of these two Australian biotech heavyweights.

I would certainly support a takeover of COH by CSL at circa $65 per share.

I have just been on the phone to the head of investor relations at CSL, he is out of the office however I left a lengthy message outlining my proposition.

Please give this post thumbs up if you agree. I know that most mid-large cap companies have at least one employee that is paid to keep an eye on HotCopper sentiment so I'm sure a few score of thumbs will add weight to my argument.

    Cheers
