potential takeover target?

interesting article by James Dunn in the switzer super report (subscription only service so can't post the article).

specifically talks about Adelaide Brighton and Nufarm as two possible takeover targets or prime for a merger etc (not together).

talks about Boral's failed bid some 10 years ago and that the synergies would still make sense all these years later... thought it was interesting that it was specifically mentioned in this vein.

wonder if recent share price action could indicate something going on in the background? we're 10c off the 12 mth high..
