Looks like you were correct.
I went through the history from mid 2019 onwards and noted that Jurie and the Van Der guy joined VR8 around June 2019. Until then it was staggering and stumbling along at a much slower pace.
The project gained a lot of traction and progress once Jurie took over.
I don't suppose the timeline graphic would have taken COVID into account as that played a significant role in slowing down progress. In fact, if you think about it, it has contributed to a 12-13 month delay.
I honestly do not believe (based on facts ofcourse), that the current BoD would have not completed the DFS on time had COVID not struck. As@Schmidlap mentioned here, VR8's managment has been sterling and has always delivered since Jurie took over.
One could also consider that timeline to be more of an indicative one given that it was prepared in mid 2019 and was attempting to put a ball park time frame for delivery of the DFS close to 2 years later.
All in all a great result - I think all share holders are happy with BoD performance.
