I don’t think anyone is trying to suppress the SP and certainly whatever BP that may be watching would no be interested in the slightest in getting involved with trying to manipulate the SP. This is perfectly normal trading wherein the trades are pretty much completely dominated by computer driven trading with algos that try to buy without pushing the price up or as close to VWAP as possible.
There is no conspiracy going on here !
