If this material were to be added to our reserves a higher NPV could have been achieved while what about the effect on processing cost...Mike has calculated for us this could triple our process cost...
Select mill feed rarely gets mentioned from opting for higher strip ratio at mining level the flip side is higher return on smaller plant. If a plant is rated at 50,000 TPA @ 15% grades more material will be produced with same plant from higher grades...
Simple math's and use of higher grades from similar capex
(340,000 TPA thru put) x 15 % x 90% recovery = 51,000 tons
(250,000 TPA thru put) x 22% x 90% recovery = 49,500 tons
Higher revenue from higher grades from similar capex
