Didn't you ever do any form of benchmarking in your commercial banking days?

Benchmarking gives you a good idea of what is happening in the rest of the market. If you wanted to make your client or organisation money, and the terms are lucrative enough, why wouldn't you fund the lowest risk project.

This kind of project may not be a big banks cup of tea, but there are plenty of other funding groups who are willing to take a higher risk to earn a higher return.

All comes down to risk profile...
