It could be just more selling by regal. In the March monthly report for RF1, they stated “A number of our strategies were carrying higher net exposures coming into March, with a tilt toward smaller and mid-cap companies. While these exposures have subsequently been aggressively repositioned, this has impacted performance in the immediate short term.”
my interpretation of “aggressively repositioned” is what we call DUMPING.
At these times I focus on the long term value of the business, rather than the short term price.
Index rebalance in June will create plenty of demand, imo.
