    No, that's fine. No problems with that, I understand that there are problems associated with back-feeding into the grid beyond the local transformer.

    When I say that's fine, I mean, that's fine so long as I am allowed to export power directly to my neighbours, in a local grid. It's not? Why not? In fact, I understand from my solar supplier, I am not allowed to have a stand alone (i.e. not connected to the grid) solar system on my house. Well, I am not going to tell them what they can do with that idea. No point in drawing attention to my sta . err, 'nuff said.
