Imagine a group of suburban homes bounded by roads but the homes are separated by their fences only. Say 30 homes band together to bulk purchase 30 solar systems interconnected with each other. (No roads to cross with wiring)
The cost savings may be well worth it. Perhaps an electrical engineer could give a run down?
