    New Senior Technical Appointment

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Glenn Martin, B.Sc (Hons), as senior project geologist at Mt Kasi. Mr Martin is a geologist with widespread experience in various geological environments including epithermal gold deposits throughout the Pacific Rim, and with considerable exposure to Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand and China. He spent an eight year period with Normandy Mining on a number of large projects, gaining experience in exploration, production, and development.

He was a key member of the project team that discovered the Martabe epithermal deposit in North Sumatra (currently in excess of 3 million ounces Au) where he was responsible for resource modelling and technical team supervision.

Until August 2004, Mr Martin was Geology Manager on the Jinfeng Project in China where he was in charge of a team of 22 in the geology department for Sino Guizhou Jinfeng Mining Ltd, a subsidiary of Sino Gold Limited.

His responsibilities have included the planning and management of resource definition drilling
programmes for bankable feasibility studies, generation of exploration targets, and computer resource modelling.

Mr Martin will report to the Project Manager at Mt Kasi, Mr Craig Hall, and adds additional depth and practical exploration experience to the project team as the project progresses toward a feasibility study in the months ahead.

    Yours faithfully

This appointment comes on top of a very good additional gold find. (see their announcement from 7 October 2004)
They found 5 metres @ 27.43 g/t Au from 57 metres which included an intersection of 1 metre @ 116.50 g/t Au from 57 metres.

    Constructive comments & discussion please.
