Furthermore .... Andrew Forrest (via Tattarang) has also bought a 17% stake in the Australian Agricultural Co (AAC) which has a few cattle and 6.4 million hectares of land in the NT and northern Queensland.
That's a whole lot of land if the winds change and he (we?) want to build a few solar farms.
For context, AAC's 6.4 million hectares is:
= 15,800,000 acres
= Over 60 million quarter acre lots
= Six quarter-acre lots for each and every household in Australia. Six each.
= 64,000 square km
= Almost 1% of Australia's land mass
= The size of Ireland
= The size of Netherlands and Belgium combined.
