I have FMG but hydrogen for cars is a terrible idea. Hydrogen has a reversed Joule-Thomson effect, when compressed hydrogen leaks, it will self-ignite. And it leaks so easily. I have worked for a company that produced large amounts of hydrogen as a by-product. Hydrogen was partially compressed and sold but most of it was vented. It was not economical to mix it with gas and burn it in a steam boiler because of the extra cost of safety protection. A hydrogen compressor from the external client has two control boxes. The first was sealed explosion-proof for the analyzer and other directly connected gauges and the second was connected by a power cable for standard power switches and the speed control. One day the analyzer failed, was removed and the hydrogen line was plugged. When the compressor was switched on a few days later the control box exploded and killed an operator. It turned out that the hydrogen line plug leaked, it pressurized the first ex-proof box, and then hydrogen leaked through the instrument power supply cable into the second control box. I was a plant engineer and I will never buy a hydrogen-powered car.
