Who is telling the Twigster not to shave? Image is everything if you want to successfully deliver a message. The Hobbo look will not impress the people that he is hoping to influence. TF is too old to carry off the AI/social media tycoon type chill out. Hopefully he has not just "yes" men and women around him.
