The hype about "the additional deaths from heat stress" is a farce. These deaths (as horrible as they are) are offset by the reduction in deaths due the cold; people who would otherwise have died due to cold-related illnesses and heating costs aren't dying anymore.
So there is nothing "additional" about it. Less people are dying.
Further, I fully disagree with your comment: "if he (Twiggy Forrest) really cared about the additional deaths from heat stress he wouldn't be selling iron ore. The clear imperative emerging from the science is that fossil fuel burning needs to stop now"
So how would the world build new houses, hospitals, schools, trains, cars, ships, ports, furniture, telecommunication towers, computers, stoves, pots, refrigerators, freezers, TVs, irrigation pipes, tractors, tyres, electrical cables and all the other so-called "redemption" stuff like wind turbines and solar panels.
