Thanks for your response.What I will agree with you on is that more needs to be done in a shorter time frame than the 2050 target. That target is just not on. Governments (and the right policies), investors, organisations all across the world need to step up on the whole. Many already are, other countries are just going to be left behind if they don't follow. That will be disastrous. What I feel is being overlooked is the progress in green energy technologies that is taking place at rapid rapid speed. More energies and resources need to be applied to those areas if we want to see fast transition. But yes, more needs to be done as highlighted in this article below and points you've highlighted, but I'm optimistic and hopeful that significant change will take place in a shorter time frame.
