Many people think of green hydrogen as a fuel. Wrong!

You need to use solar and wind to make green hydrogen. So one might as well just use the solar and the wind directly, true?

As highlighted in the interview, green hydrogen itself is not a primary a source of energy.

If it's in a power system it's storage like a battery.

Fortescue are already using it for their trucks, so where do you think that has come from? And for their Green Pioneer vessel.

Another point from the interview..."The enormous opportunity for hydrogen is for export, not necessarily for hydrogen as it's expensive, but embodying it in products, such as green iron, fertilisers etc."
