I'm still confused by your comments such as "...burning diesel is a nightmare...", I thought the whole point of converting our fleet of trucks and mining equipment to evs was to eliminate diesel.

To employ a parallel analogy, re the other sources of carbon emissions I view the capex as essential requirement in advancing development, but ultimately resulting superior performance. In the issues we are discussing the pay-off is hugely reduced carbon emissions. Please don't feel compelled to respond to these musings, you have tried!

Obviously to cure my manifest ignorance and misunderstanding of the issues you raised, I need to do a helluva lot of homework and research.

I do,however, remain excited to observe the success or lack thereof of Fortescue's magnificent decarbonising grand vision. I guess New Years Eve 2030 will be a revelatory evening to observe and relect on what Fortescues lofty ambitions have achieved. See ya then!, wes
