I’d like to think of China slipping back a peg or two as India steps up to be the next big growth market for commodity exporters like FMG. By a peg or two I mean just enough to take the edge and confidence off Zi’s aggressive global expansionist vision.
However, it concerns me that India doesn’t seem to have he required national discipline to succeed as the enforced national discipline of China.
India also has a strong engineering sector and a penchant for high tech and innovation … perhaps green energy and green steel if a better fit for FMG with India?
