Ukraine was nowhere near NATO membership when Putin invaded. You talk about truth and lies, but you are just plain wrong on that. As for loving peace, Russia's murderous aggression has been over the top for years. Don't forget MH17, Russia was clearly to blame. Putin is basically a fascist. I am happy to use that term. Have a look at the work of historian Timothy Snyder, he lays out the definitions and history of fascism and why Putin fits the description. The way Putin runs his wars is atrocious. He is a war criminal and should be dragged before the ICC as soon as possible. Russia has not improved, it is a pariah state and Putin's dictatorship is a disaster for the Russian people and the rest of the world.
