Where is revenue from the Fortescue Energy segment going to predominantly come from for FY25?

Only from two segments imv, but note they have a few sub-segments within the main energy segment.

    1. Fortescue Hydrogen Systems - Will be about producing electrolysers and hydrogen production systems development and manufacturing.

    * Producing electrolysers - They've already delivered their first in-house prototype. Revenue would be coming in from this sub-segment predominently from producing and selling electrolysers. Fortescue are already selling electrolysers. This has also been confirmed in the Investor Call. "Our teams have delivered on a stretch target to sign three contracts for the sale of our electrolyser systems by the end of the financial year."

    * Hydrogen production systems development - Gladstone project showcases Fortescue's technical expertise and commercial viability in hydrogen production systems.

    * Manufacturing - Gladstone project - positions the company as a global leader in manufacturing technology for industrial-scale green hydrogen applications.

In summary, the production and selling of electrolysers didn't happen last FY, therefore I see this segment contributing to the overall "Fortescue Energy" umbrella, for FY25 as ramp up increases and customers increase.

    2. Fortescue Zero (formally WAE) - will be focused on world-leading advanced battery technology and fleet technology development and manufacturing.

Ok, let's break this down. Simple really. They are already selling these products/solutions as we speak.

    * Selling their World-leading advanced battery technology and services.
    * Selling their decarbonisation technology and heavy haul equipment/products to heavy industry (Liebherr/Fortescue partnership).
    * Selling not only hardware but also the software that will be integrated into everything "electric" that they are finalising (Elysia) and AHS and FMS.

What I'm looking forward to seeing is what the breakdown is going to be for FY24 for Fortescue Energy and hopefully Fortescue Zero which should be revealed soon. This should give us some indication of what to expect for FY25 as scale and demand increases.
