apologies for the absense for about a week, have not come out of hibernation in Melbourne yet this year and it may be a while judging by the forecast!. A July month where our temps are bang on long term average and out hottest July was back in 2013......
The comment on Lismore "first established way back in 1856" made me smile and reinforces my point - the phrase should read 'first established ONLY in 1856.." This is a photo i took on rim walk of Kings Canyon last year, where plants are still surviving from times when our climate was much wetter than today..! All our known history is really only recent history...
anyway, thats enough stirring, I will go back to my cave until it warms up down south!
