Interesting that you should say in one sentence that we should "stop being green", and then only two sentences later say we should "not disturb her".

It's probably too late to say we shouldn't disturb the Earth after we've already dredged up a large chunk of the carbon that has been out of the cycle for over 200 million years and released it. Certainly the Earth will look after that carbon, as it always has. But while it does, do you really want to return to that environment?
