I'm not sure if you're aware but Fortescue's Europa green hydrogen run truck has a built in BET even though the battery is smaller.

"Delivered in collaboration with Liebherr, Europa is a T 264 Liebherr haul truck and contains a 1.6MWh battery (developed in-house by Fortescue WAE) and 500 kilowatts of fuel cells. The prototype can store over 380 kilograms of liquid hydrogen."

and...

“Europa integrates for the first time a Fortescue Zero battery into a Liebherr haul truck, marking a huge milestone in our partnership with Liebherr."

How good is that! Why do you reckon they've integrated the green hydrogen into the truck?

As you have read, Christmas Creek is already using solar energy, electrolysers etc.

They're not leaving any stone unturned. They're looking at the entire hydrogen chain, ie refueling truck & charging batteries all at once and all on-site.

So yes Wes, these will be integrated. This will provide critical real live data on their mine sites for their heavy haul equipment. Not just limited to trucks.

Both the Roadrunner and Europa trucks are now on-site for ongoing tests and commissioning.
