    Hey Wes,

    My thoughts below.

    G'day Micky-I,

Great to hear you extolling the worth of FC, I share your enthusiasm. It appears to be a win, win, win, win situation in the potentially massive growth industry of decarbonising of Earth's atmosphere.

Win one....it will provide a rocket fuel injection (please forgive the inappropriate fossil fuel metaphor) of readily available funds for the multitude of Fortescue operations around the globe.

Yes, but raisings will be on a project to project basis and those that have the best opportunity of reaching FID.

But wait, there's more.....profits that normally flow to the financial institution providing the funds, flow straight back to our Fortescue coffers. Effectively free funds. Wickedly simple! Sorry mate but it's not that simple. Fortescue have stated that they will have equity in the projects that they have done their homework on and that they see as viable opportunities. The next round of projects are going to be in the billions, so it's imperative they select carefully and with the financial discipline they're known for.

Win two...It will specifically provide funds for other decarbonising industries in need of financing. It will be on a project to project basis, so they really need to be financially disciplined here.

Win three ....All the profits from the complete operation go into the Fortescue pot, and we all know the massive profitability of financial institutions, the only difference being FC will be a financial institution specialising in the burgeoning decarbonising industry. These projects will be years away from profitability, but yes, potential institutions will have parked their funds early, so too Fortescue.

Win four....Most importantly, our precious, unique Planet Earth's atmosphere, and hence climate. The New Industrial Revolution is stridiing into town! Get outta the way!

I certainly agree with you about Robert Tichio's credentials from decades of experience, but there's another, in my humble opinion, even more important quality he brings to the table.....connections......you know what they say .....networks, network, network....Robert must have hundreds of personal connections around the Big Apple!

    Let's face it, Twiggy's a freakin genius!!

If anyone detects any failings in my rationale, please feel welcome to rubbish my postulations.

Mick, your informative post had me grinnin ear to ear! Thanks mate, Wes
