Governments offer Tax Rebates and grant incentives to companies to ensure employment numbers continue to grow and not drop, from that as does government income via Tax Revenue from both the individual and companies.
Without government assistance many of the ideas of the future will fail to see the light of day causing countries to stagnate, fail to meet deliverables for their people, lag behind competition from other countries, devalue the countries currency to fall, cause hyperinflation and have a dire major social impact.
