Whether C1 costs can get to $10 is an interesting thought, perhaps wishful thinking, but the real question is - do you think the recent announcements around autonomous mining EVs will lead to lower C1 costs? Based on FY25 guidance every USD$1 drop in C1 costs will lead to a USD$200M lift in PBT. I'm interested in your thoughts on this question.
Given your background you can imagine the huge amount of work that FMG's finance team would have put into the business case presented to the board when considering these decisions.
