I'm a product of the Lidcomb Oval collesium back in the legendary fibros v. Silvertails battles. Mate, I'll tell ya this much for nuthin, in them days it was no place for the faint-hearted!...as my rough melon with my missing front tooth will attest!

However, I do love our cousins the Mighty Panthers, especially now that Jarome Luai and Sunia Turuva have seen the light and are joining the mighty Tigers, with our trophy room jam-packed with wooden spoons. Just remember if you ever have the good fortune to meet a Tigers member-supporter, you're talking with one of the most loyal breeds on the planet!.

One final comment on footy, Supercoach Cleary is one of most special people I've ever admired, not only did he have the generosity to donate a kidney to his ailing brother, but he has the ability to maintain a Buddha-like calm to maintain a steady focused mind in even the most trying of times. We could all learn from him.....and yes...the Panthers were utterly brilliant and the speed of the game was truly mind-boggling.

I should come with a warning Skidlid......don't mention Rugby League or Fortescue to me....or you will suffer
