I do wonder what engineering and manufacturing experience/qualifications Turnbull could ever bring to FMG/FFI?
Pretty simple answer-----none.
With the multitude of engineering tasks ahead, Gladstone factory, repurposing existing sites, etc, the company needs a highly experienced hands on operator to lead a highly qualified team of engineers.
Elizabeth Gaines stepped aside to allow such a person to be chosen, not some failed politician with no experience in the needed fields.
