Co2 is not a greenhouse gas, it can hardly get off the ground it is so heavy. The higher you go in our atmosphere the less there is of it - there is no halo of Co2 in our atmosphere but you do get a halo effect from water vapour in the form of cloud cover and that is your heat blanket that traps the long wave radiation from escaping, particularly at night! Surely, even you can go out side and observe such occasions!!! But make sure you are well covered up if the night sky is clear!
