No one is saying it won't work in 10 years. That's just a deflection from the fact that it isn't working now, yet despite an abundance of evidence that it isn't working now, FMG directors have still been pouring money into it.
So we can disagree about the economics of hydrogen if you like, but I'll take my cues from the economic evidence and you can deny the maxims of economics and continue to dwell in the speculative world of "but it could work in a decade".
