    Hey Tony, a fellow poster on the HYT (40% owned by Fortescue) thread recently shared this piece about the work of Dr Dirk Smit (Ex Chief Scientist at Shell) now working with Hyterra. My interpretation of his logic is that it's not so much about finding the natural "white" hydrogen reservoirs but the natural hydrogen production systems to produce white hydrogen in situ through stimulation.

    It takes the earth millions of years to produce hydrocarbons that have fuelled our existence for only 200 years. Stimulating natural hydrogen could essentially be a renewable, carbon free source of energy for as long you could imagine and < $1/kg. Speculation remains high and yes, there are unsolved problems like storage and transport. I sense that if we really are looking at the future of energy, there will be very wealthy and smart people looking at how we solve for those problems.
