It's been really interesting reading the back and forth of your hydrogen discussion, thanks.

There seems to have been a massive amount of words spoken and written on this subject, without any successful large scale applications to date. Who knows what the future will bring?

TiM, those 2050 projections , for me, are meaningless, because by 2050 there will have been so many quantum technological leaps by then that today's technology will be well and trully rendered obsolete......remember old style radios and room size computers?.....they have been replaced by a phones that fit in your pocket with a kerbillion functions unimaginable even a few short decades ago.

Any projecting to 2050 with the assumption of knowing what technology will be is meaningless to the point of absurdity.....the world will be technologically unrecognisable by then . Even 2030 is technologically potentially distant

I remain agnostic as to the future of hydrogen.....with a hint of scepticism.... I hope it can become economically viable, but until it has actually got the runs on the board in broadscale application, it remains a dream. Enough speculating and projecting.....the bottom line of any system is...does it work?

I hasten to add, any updates and/or discussion on the subject are most welcome!....Meanwhile, it's back to the main game.....electrification/decarbonising our IO mining, with exciting garnishings of Fortescue Zero thrown into the mix!
