    Yeah, nargh. You're re-writing history there.
    The polls were not at all unequivocal the Trump was a shoe-in.

    But that setting aside, what you are effectively saying ist hat it was a change of government in the US that kneecapped hydrogen's prospects.

    But we have no government change here, and yet the headlines over the past 6 months are replete with Australian hydrogen projects being cancelled.

    If the hydrogen economy is such a great idea from a commercial standpoint, it would be irrelevant to whatever shape or hue of government is in place [*]; private sector capital would continue be invested in hydrogen projects based purely on their financial merit.

    [*] Unless, of course, we're talking about hydrogen projects being propped up by taxpayer money).
