Its a shame that journalists obviously don't ask the engineers and scientist in charge of these projects to proofread them before publishing them. As an example of journalistic crap have a look at this comment in the article.

"The Delta Velos spaceplane is no slow thing, designed to be capable of Mach 5 (6,174kph) and Mach 10 (12,348kph) speeds, all with water vapour. Very spacey."

At the very least he should have said "Mach 5 to Mach 10". Scram jets don't operate properly below Mach 5 so it was never going to travel any slower than that under its own power and it isn't a 2 speed spaceplane so "and" is wrong.
Never quote Mach numbers in km/h to 4 figures, the Mach number varies according to air density (affected by temp, press, humidity and composition) so its just silly to pretend to be that accurate.
Then there is "all with water vapor". Its not a steam engine, there is a big difference between water vapour and hydrogen. Granted the exhaust is water vapor but we don't say that a modern jet engine is powered by water vapor and carbon compounds.

There are other parts of the article that don't add up as well, Zachariah Kelly should hang his head in shame.
