Basically, Lara, I agree with you, with the one caveat....that is..... with the exponential rate of technological evolution, I suspect ultimately, green/yellow/ white hydrogen will become economically viable. Once that occurs, the success, or lack thereof, will be contingent on sufficient demand to allow economies of scale to develop.

    Will that occur?....dunno....I hope so!

When will these hypothetical technological advances emerge?.....the sooner the better.

Technology is not a static concept and ideally should, somehow, embrace the reality that a technological advancements parameter should somehow be shoehorned into any assessment equation. I acknowledge this is a somewhat nebulous concept, however, the assumption of static technology is equally unrealistic.

There has already been significant technological electrification breakthroughs at our Perth laboratories and our Fortescue Zero labs in England. Hopefully, hydrogen production, storage, piping and transportation challenges can be overcome. By not slamming the door on the concept, the possibility development is encouraged.

Basically, I still agree with you, whilst simultaneously encouraging Fortescue to vigorously strive for hydrogen development.

    Cheers, Wes T Tiger jnr
