    Thanks for your thinkpiece, Mikey,

Being passionately opposed to taxpayers donating to billionaires bank accounts, I respectfully beg to differ with my learned colleague!

Hutch, in his exit summary, noted one of the most significant impediments to green hydrogen is lack of demand. Viable industries don't require government handouts.

One of the best examples of this principle is our transition to zero carbon emissions IO mining which is currently proceeding apace for Fortescue, subsidy free!

I reckon down the track, as technological evolution gradually catches up with the hydrogen dream's requirements ( production, storage, piping, transportation AND DEMAND,), there may well be a green/ white... mined/yellow....photocatalytic hydrogen industry thriving....I hope so.

I prefer my businesses to be lean, mean, fighting machines......independent of, and undependent on government largesse handouts.....put away the begging bowls, businesses.....our taxes are desperately needed for defence, hospitals, energy transmission infrastructure, schools, roads.......et al. Fortescue is big enough, tough enough and innovative enough not to depend on government handouts. Twiggy and us shareholders are doing O.K.!

I rest my case your honour!Wesley T Tiger III
