Or, there could be a take over bid coming in , and they are smashing the SP to get things rolling.
I remember a long, long time ago, the SP of crown casino really got smashed, down to something like $00.60, fast down [the story was the high rollers had been winning] and then after a couple of weeks Packer, bid for it.
I always thought it was Packer selling the SP down before lobbing his bid.
Possible. Particularly when there has already been a recent coup attempt on the board.
